The raw material for exterior wall rock wool boards is natural volcanic rock, making it a non-combustible building material and fireproof material.
**Main fireproof characteristics:**
☉ It has the highest fire resistance grade of A1, effectively preventing the spread of fire.
☉ The dimensions are very stable and will not elongate, shrink, or deform during a fire.
☉ It is heat-resistant with a melting point above 1000℃.
☉ It does not produce smoke or burning droplets/fragments in a fire.
☉ It will not release harmful environmental substances and gases during a fire.
**Thermal Insulation:**
The fibers of the exterior wall rock wool board are fine, flexible, and have a low slag ball content. This results in a low thermal conductivity coefficient, providing excellent insulation.
**Sound Absorption and Noise Reduction:**
Rock wool is an ideal soundproof material. The large number of fine fibers forms a porous, interconnected structure, making it an outstanding sound-absorbing and noise-reducing material.
**Water Repellency:**
Water-repellent rock wool products have a water repellency rate of up to 99.9%, with extremely low water absorption and no capillary penetration.
**Moisture Resistance:**
Rock wool has a small volume moisture absorption rate of less than 0.2% in environments with high relative humidity. According to ASTM C1104 or ASTM C1104M methods, its mass moisture absorption rate is less than 0.3%.
